Habitats

 What is a habitat? 

A habitat is somewhere an organism make there home, a habitat will meet all the environmental conditions they will need to survive. such as food, shelter and space to survive and again habitat is both biotic and abiotic factors. Types of habitat are forests, oceans, grasslands and deserts. Each of these have great qualities and inhabitants that support a variety of living forms.



Forest-  A forest provides woodland and forest is important for wildlife, an animals will be able to source food, shelter and cover that is becoming increasingly rare. 

Ocean- The ocean habitat is divided into two parts coastal and open ocean, it provides fish, seashell and also natural resources.

Grassland- Grassland is a place that receives a lot more rain than a deserts but less precipitation than forests. Grasses predominate, and they require less water than other types of vegetation found in forests.

Deserts- Deserts are large areas of land with very little or no water. They have less than 25 centimeters of precipitation every year deserts are the  dirtiest place on the planet, 20 % of the world is made up of deserts. Plants grow from minerals and little water.
